Default Copy protect PDF

Hi, I need some software to copy protect PDF files. Basically I want to protect some of my office works in PDF format so that others could not copy paste them. I would prefer a freeware. I know adobe acrobat can do that.

And is there any software to cpoy protect *.doc files.

About your second query, I don't think you can make a .doc file Copy Protect, but you can make it Open and Edit protect.

Open the doc file in LibreOffice or OpenOffice.org. Go to file menu and select export to pdf. In the pdf settings page, go to Security tab. There is an option to restrict copying text, etc... After adjusting the settings, you can specify the file name and you will have your pdf with the required restrictions...
