I'm not much help, I'm afraid...

I've never tried un-installing IE from my system. I'd like to know how it's done as well.

If u have a link in the ADD/REMOVE LIST take it off or use an UNINSTALLER software such as

http://www.download.com/UninstallDum...ml?tag=lst-0-8

http://www.download.com/Add-Remove-M...ml?tag=lst-0-9

http://www.download.com/Enhanced-Uni...l?tag=lst-0-10

http://www.download.com/Clean-Uninst...ml?tag=lst-0-1

I'd recommend to go for an uninstaller as it will clean the entire thing.

U should get an option to Uninstall Internet Explorer 7 BETA in Add/remove programs list.
Make sure to check the checkbox to show updates!

Because IE 7 BETA is installed as an update and its uninstall option is visible only when we select that checkbox...
