What were the different products available as far as Microsoft Office 2007 and for whom those products each?

I think he needs to take a look at the Comparison part to find out the most suitable version for him

^^ tell us what office apps you'll be using and what's your max budget ?

for you I'd recommend the Professional edition

it depends upon what specific features u need....
just refer the chart of each MS Office version given above & make ur choice..
