Unhappy AUDIO stopped working!


i was using the pc,browsing actually,and suddenly when i played a sound file,the there was no sound,i watched a movie before this,
speakers are working fine,i connected them to my phone and checked.

i have no idea what went wrong now,because it was working fine before,i even tried booting another windows from another hdd but still no sound,i can see the green line moving up and down.and device properties says working properly.
Btw its -Win 7

please help!

It would be Realtek ALC889 if he is using onboard.

Check the wires. Audio jack on the back of computer maybe loose.

In realtek audio control panel, click the folder icon on the right side panel, uncheck "Jack detection" and restart pc, maybe the front audio ports are short circuiting and triggering the sense channel. Try removing the front panel header from mobo if it does not work.
