Default Virtu Control Panel help

Hello,
i got my new i7 rig. It took me a little while to setup all d drivers and all
I am finally trying games

My config
i7 2600k
asus p8z68 v pro
4gb ddr3
HD 6950
22" monitor

my display is plugged to my gfx card

now there is a virtu control panel which has a on/off button .. I dont know whether the message it currently shows is activated or we need to press it to activate it.. this is confusion 1

moreover on clicking on games , it just shows 3 softwares and not the big list of games as it is supposed to ??

i m confused , m i using integrated gfx or dedicated gfx ? how can i verify that ?

i want to use my gfx card while playing all games

Its in D mode, the gfx card will be used to play games etc, the processor gfx will be used only when converting video with one of the listed application.

Default Re: Virtu Control Panel help

i plugged d display cable to onboard display.
Now i can see a long list of games in virtu panel
But the display has gone has a little bad from what it was before.

Situation 1:
Plugged in onboard gfx.
Virtu on ( proccy gpu icon glow )
Virtu off (gpu active , igpu gone )

Situation 2:
plugged in gpu
virtu on ( proccy gpu icon glow )
virtu off (gpu gone , igpu active )

i assume the virtu on condition is same for both situations.

So out of the following what should i opt for to get best display ?

Keep it plugged on the the gpu, the only reason we use virtu is to use onboard quick sync on the processor.

Read an excellent explanation at benchmark reviews.

I mode and D mode FPS drop is 5% and Power Consumption difference is 2 Watts

So i think for Gaming & Designing D Mode is better with On board turned on from virtu panel

wat say ?

Yes, keep in d mode, also you can remove virtu from start up, not needed, run on demand by running the exe.
