Re: Software Trouble?
So, this error "PWDGX Compressed" is shown post BIOS, and before booting of windows?
Can you post a screenshot please.
You can try booting from a windows CD, and try to chkdsk from repair console.

Re: Software Trouble?
That is some strange error message! Google is of No help here.
The only solution seems to be in this case, are:
1. Re-installing windows on another drive, and repair/recover files from old windows.
But since you don't have a windows CD that maynot be possible.
2. Booting from a Live Linux CD OR UBCD (Ultimate Boot CD) and try to repair windows from that.
Also, it may be some settings problem, and/or hardware issue. You will have to wait for more experienced opinions on possible causes of this error message. Sorry.
Try to remember the last thing you did while your computer was running. Since it might give clues of what possibly went wrong.

Re: Software Trouble?
It looks like some hardware problem.
Try this:
1. Remove RAM from mobo and re-seat it again properly.
Hope this helps.

i had called my friend and he gave me the phone no of a guy who corrects these kinda things.ll update here as soon as i get it rite.
the last thing i did on my pc was,i was deleting some useless movies, songs, games and shut down.

Well, maybe you deleted some important system files.
There's no other way to solve this problem, besides re-installing the OS.
And I hope, you install a genuine OS this time. You can start with Windows 7 Home basic, or if you don't have the means, you can try Ubuntu Linux.
All the best.
