hai friends,
I want to know that is there is any way so that i could allow only certain range of IP address to access my FILE SERVER. tell me the procedure if any?

You ca give password protected acces to other PC's using a software called Team Viewer which I think is one of best ways to share.

You mean you want to block local network IPs or IPs over the Internet?
