Default Resolution problem


Hi!

I am having following config:-

ASUS VW193D 19"
Core2Duo E7400 @ 2.8 Ghz
Nvidia 8400GS @ 512 mb

Now i had been using my monitor @ 1600 x 900 resoultion since a long time

but yesterday when i switched on my monitor its resolution was at @ 1152x864

now when i try to get it back 160x900 is shows out of range . Please help what shall i do??

Recduce the refresh rate of the screen first then try to switch it

^^ its already at is lowest i.e. 60Hz

Then try reducing colour depth to 16 bit.......that should help..
else reinstall drivers..

Generally this occurs because of a corrupt driver. Uninstall the current driver and install the latest drivers.

Reinstall display drivers and also try this on safe mode and see what happens.

It is again back to normal without doing anything @ all seriously tis pc is getting my nerve now

@mohityadavx: if its working now then keep it under observation....& if problem occurs again then reinstall the display drivers
