How to install win2k3 in RAID-1 without floppy.

Dear all,

I have a server of acer AT310-F1 and i want to install win2k3 in it but i don't have a floppy drive to install raid controller driver ...i also try to install OS via "acer smart setup" but no go.....
server have not any floppy driver controller present in motherboard...
it is necessary to have floppy diver to install RAID driver in win2k3,can i use usb floppy drive or not..
pls help me its urgent ..

you need to slipstream RAID-1 drivers into win2k3 disc - follow this to know how to do it :

great question, you can do it quite easily. just download nlite software and prepare a win 2003 disc from this software , when you configure the boot disc you have the option to embed anY third party drivers like your RAID in the boot disc. after making the new disc when you install the server you will see that you RAID has been taken by the server CD FOR INSTALLATION.

whether it is possible to install third party RAID driver via nlite software. my server has a PCI SAS card (Make-promise).

^^ most probably - nlite will let you integrate many different third party hardware drivers - just give it a try.
