Default LG Cyberlink Software giving problems.

Hi people.
I bought my lg dvd writer and with it got cyberlink burning software. I installed this but when i click on lg burning software icon, an error comes which says "Failed to create empty document"
THen the windows dialogue box come and says "power2go.exe has stopped working"

Any solutions ?

What is causing the problem?

PS: I am using Win 7 Ultimate 64 bit

Also, is it the softwares fault, the hardwares fault, or the operating systems fault?

install other writing software and check(ie nero or any free ones available).
I think it should work & check compatibility of ur lg software version ie supports win 7 64 bit etc.

Just use some other software for burning like Burnaware free, Burn 4 Free, Asampoo Burning Studio. I would recommend Asampoo.

I personally like CDBurnerXP over Imgburn or other free burning softwares out there. However I've come to know that Ashampoo Burning Studio is good too.

seems like a compatibility issue between the OS and the software.

Try IMgBurn - if it writes a disc without any issue then your drive is fine.

ok^^

btw i have chosen to change to win 7 32 bit. Hopefully the software will work on that

after a year or so ( when my board exams r done i will change back to 64 bit as i will have time for research)

My board exams r also the reason i have to come less to the forum. Gonna miss you awesome people!!
