Default Down load manager

MY SYSTEM CONFIGURtions are:

CORE i3 PROCESSOR
3GB RAM
WINDOWS 7 HOME BASIC
64 BITS

AT PRESENT I AM USING INTERNET DOWNLOAD MANAGER(IDM).
BUT IT GOING TO EXPIRE IN 3DAYS
I HAD ALSO TRIED BITTORRENT & MUETORRENT BUT IT IS NOT WORKING ON MY SYSTEM.IN BITTORRENT IT IS GETTING DOWNLOAD IN VERY SLOW SPEED.ALSO DURING THE DOWNLOAD IT STOPS AUTOMATICALLY.

PLEASE SUGGEST ME A DOWNLOAD MANAGER WHICH IS TOTALLY FREE FOR LIFE LONG ,WORKS LIKE THAT OF IDM & SUPPORTS MY CONFIGURATIONS.
PLEASE REPLY AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.

Orbit is a good choice. DAP is more of an AD-Bomb than software.

Another vote from me for FDM ( free Download Manager )

For torrent downloads use µTorrent

my personal experience with FDM is not that good. So, i would rather go with Orbit Downloader.
But the best is IDM.

Both of em are good but FDM is better than Orbit and more features also.

i used FDM for 2yrs then shifted to DAP (along with FlashGet). & now orbit. DAP works best in GPRS & can accelerate download past 25kbps if downloading through browser gives 5-8kbps. but is malfunctions all the time & shows ad banners.
