I am in need of a new antivirus and is confused weather to buy kaspersky internet security 2011 or kaspersky pure. Which offers better protecton and scanning is all I care about

Well, as you are looking to spend money....I want you to reccomend Avira....

Its the best AV right now....

Kaspersky is not that a good AV that I want to reccomend....



If you want free AV then Avira free.

Just try Avast and Avira and use which suits your needs. Both are free. If you can get something for free why pay for it unnecessarily. Try both of them and use one one of them.

^^ I ain't saying its not but many users use avast because of its vast and good features which Avira lacks even I use Avira but still Avast is also one of the best and you can't argue on that. Avast have much more features than Avira but avira excels in being light weight and gets the job done. Thats the reason I suggested him to try both and use what best suits hid needs.

yeah, you can fiddle around many settings.

avast has way many options.

Avira is way too over simplified.
