Software to prevent data recovery

Data recovery has become a security threat these days.Our personal datas from memory cards,pendrives etc can be easily recovered using programs like recuva etc..As recuva is a freeware I thought there would be free programs to prevent data recovery.Unfortunately I have not found one till date.I tried some freewares claim that it prevents data recovery but even after using those softwares, recuva easily recoveres deleted files.I have not got a solution for this yet, so please help me.

File deletion with my software will take some time as it deletes securely.

Remember, more the number of passes the more secure but it takes more time.

Use glary utilities to delete files securely beyond recovery. Well I don't use this feature but sure you can.

Thanks for your suggestions.Active killdisk worked for me
Now atleast the n00bs (who scan for our personal data when they get our memory card or pendrives) wont able to recover the files.
