Can't access MMC [Error]

Hello, I'm running Windows XP SP3. I have two problems -


1) The System Restore window does not open completely and rather hangs. There is no virus (as far as I know) because I had scanned my PC with Kaspersky Internet Security 2011 4-5 days back.

2) Also, my PC does some random reboots. I don't know why. I have not overclocked my CPU (But I'd done it earlier, about 2 months ago).

Hav you tried running System Restore in Safe mode?

And if you hav attached some image, I guess, it can not be shown here properly.

I think it's beacuse of some malware - Have you updated your AVs definition files - update it and run a complete system scan again.

do a full System scan with Emsisoft Anti-Malware. if nothings found, probably the issue isn't cause of malware.
