Re: Best free firewall?
For a newbie i would recommend Online Armor Free due to its superior usability
Comodo can be a bit too much to handle sometimes
but it is the best

Comodo blocks EVERYTHING when you select the option.

Re: Best free firewall?
Comodo firewall isn't for first timers. if misused or selecting options without knowing knowing what one is doing, either everything will be blocked or everything will be notified. seriously not for the first time user.

Re: Best free firewall?
I prefer COMODO though novice can get troubled if they experiment too much in the begning. Its RED thus too hot to handle without care

Re: Best free firewall?
No one use Outpost security suit free..!!... I using outpost with AVAST free and still faced no problem, outpost also have a antivirus engine in this free suite.... Dont worry, outpost automatically adjust with other alreay installed antivirus and do not make any problem....

Ok yeah for official matters may be....But i really dont care that much about data....I call my friends DATA hoarders(2TBs, 1.5TBs, Average 512+??GBs)....Hehehehehe.
And for me, Firewall does more harm than of use....I play online games a lot and its hard to configure and play it all at the same time....Ports...Hamachi...Garena...Gameranger...St eam....Xfire.....half of them stop working properly under firewalls.
And who needs so much of unwanted protection when i surf dirrty sites that are forum based and I have no lan access....AV takes care of pendrives.....And who wants a slower computer.
Peace~~~!

Re: Best free firewall?
^^I don't want some random app to suck up my bandwidth. And I do love to see what is going on there
Comodo works well without any slowdowns.
