When I install Avira AntiVir Personal Edition,it says as follows:

This product is SSL encrypted. What is that actually?

*Ensure that the application fact.exe has access to the Internet and will not be blocked by firewall.

How to make such changes in Windows XP Home (SP2)?

Any more changes to be done when installing the above software?
