MSI.chm error...!!!! CAN ANYONE FIX THIS PLZ??

Hi guys...

i re-formatted and installed windows xp sp2 and everything was working fine except that there was no sound but that issue was sorted out in the forum itself but i seem to have run into another one.

i tried to install 2 games but after reaching around 20-30% of the installation on both the games i get an error that the installer cannot read any particular file and asks me to make sure that it's there...after which if i quit the installation i get another error which reads:

"ERROR: -1603 FATAL ERROR DURING INSTALLATION". Consult Windows Installer
Help (MSI.CHM) or MSDN for more information"

please help me to solve it guys..!! I CAN'T LIVE WITHOUT GAMESSSS...

try cleaning your temp folder too..download and use ccleaner if you arent sure how
