<<<<windows explorer malfunction... plzzz help>>>>

hi everyone,
recently bought a new assembled pc. i made a mistake by installing the pirated version of MAFIA II, following which i am unable to open the windows explorer and read my files in the hard disk.
whenever i open the explorer or my computer, previously the files suddenly flashes and disappears towards the right side of the screen.now i could see the window in the system tray, but thats it, i couldnt open the files.
i realised that pirated ones cause these probs. but i need a solution to sort out this problem.
please help.......

i use windows 7 ultimate 64bit.

Try a system restore, to the point before M2 was installed.

Download a Free AV like AVG/Avira/Avast and Enter in safe mode and try to install that AV and run a complete scan of your system and remove all the malicious contents found by the AV.

After that repair your windows installation using win 7 disc..

btw all versions of Mafia 2 has virus so you cant do anything other than buying original....my friend also had same problem
