no. 1 user is for 1 OS. 2 OS on 1 machine will require 2 license. why not try some free alternate first like Avast or MS Security Essentials?

best options of free antivirus today-

AVG Free-download here AVG Free - Antivirus Download | Free Virus Protection

avast! Free-download here avast! Free Antivirus - Download Software for Virus Protection
avast needs license key which u get for free after u install then register,It will be emailed to you
you have to renew license every year and yes using same file you can get unlimited no. Of license for unlimited number of home pc's

Try not using Clampwin, although its portable dont use it.Telling from personal user experience

Use Avira AntiVir Personal Edition Classic - I've been using this since 2006.

Actually you can use !!

The only problem is you will not be kept protected all the time.

Step 1: Instal the Antivirus on any one OS.

Step 2: Do a Custom scan for Virus on both the partion.

But REAL TIME PROTECTION will only work in the OS you installed this Antivirus on.

Dear Friend, Go for Norton Anti Virus 2011, if you are really interested in Real time Protection, and at Moderate Cost.
Go for 3 user license. Excellent Support from Symantec. U can share\sell one user license to your friend or relative.
Free Avast, Avira won't catch, Engineering college Student's tiny virus like cold and auto.inf
Best regards

^^ I used Panda Vaccine but it just slows down USB detection ie after logging into windows I've to wait for at-least 5 mins to properly recognize USB mass storage devices ( tested on 2pcs with XP and win 7 - So uninstalled this and I'm using No autorun instead and I don't have to wait for 5 mins now after plugging ins a usb storage device.

@ nedun_cheran - edit the e-mail link in your post.

Microsoft Security Essential is free, handy and a powerful tool against any malware/ viruses...
you can download and install it on both the operating systems...
but it is suitable for Win xp service pack 2, or higher...
