Question strange problem with windows media player


in my laptop i cant play any movies files with windows media player(have install k-lite code up to date)previous it use to play movie but now it does play movies file let say dvd movies if i unplug power supply from laptop but if i plug in power supply wnidows media player 11 play movies fine,it works fine but if i unplug power supply i cant play the movies,what happened?????

tried with other media players. like vlc or k-lite ?

change your power plan to performance mode.

i have download windows medai player 11 from microsoft and have install but still problem is same,others media player some how play the movies but i want to know what is causing this error and what is its solution, this problem is very strange??im not getting solution from any where?? cant any one help me to solve this problem???

uninstall Klite codec pack & install Vista Codec Package by Shark007. its fully compatible with WinXp. or if you using Win7 download & install Windows 7 Codecs by same author (but not Windows 7 Codec Pack)

i check the battery in other laptop with same model but it worked fine,i brought new battery too,but problem is same,i uninstal klite codec and install vista codec as well adain install klite codec up to date,after uninstalling vista codec,now wmp play dvd files while i unplug power but it just plays sound i mean i can hear sound but cant see video,i have on automatic updates and it keeps on updating windows,my friend told me that this problem is due to windows updates is he right??

did u change the power plan ?

what is the res of video u are trying to play ??

updates are meant to improve performance & functionality, not remove them.

one thing.. provide the system specification and the model number of laptop

Did you updated or installed new Graphics Drivers for your system ?
In-correct drivers tend to cause this type of problems.

Either uninstall the Graphics Driver completely and then instal the correct drivers again or update the old one (as per your systems required configuration).

If this still does not solve ur problem then please post your system specs here.

I would suggest you to use KMplayer and Gom Player.
