Can't access Intel GMA settings

Hello, I have Windows XP and have been facing some graphics problems lately. The whole desktop has become large and difficult to read (as if the screen resolution has decreased like hell). I tried to increase screen resolution but I can't access the Intel GMA settings through the right click context menu nor through Control Panel nor through notification area. Intel GMA just doesn't appear anywhere. I also scanned my PC for viruses but did not find any.
Please help me out!

download the drivers from intel website and install it.
