in my C drive , the windows has been installed
when i check the properties
--------
it shows used space 23.4gb
and total space 97.5gb
free - 74.1gb
--------
but when i go inside the drive , select all the folders n files, n then check the properties, i see only 14.5 gb used !!!

Some space could be occupied by System Restore or Backup utility (it is your main drive).

There is nothing unusual about it. It is used by Windows and it is not missing.

There are hidden & system files & folders in the drive. You need to select them also in order to get the correct statistics.

their are hidden system files & folder

disable system restore, delete all temp file,
use "sfc /purgecache" command from command prompt
than try

you can use tune up utilities to clean up the space used by restore points.
