problem with executing set up.exe file

i have windows xp sp2.recently i was trying to install oxford dictionary on my pc. autoplay function did not respond.whenever i try to open set up.exe file or click on autoplay i got an error massage 'windows cannot access the specified devices, path or file.you may not have appropriate permission to access the item.' please help me to solve this issue. thanks

I think you don't have the administered rights to run the .exe files. You must login with administrator or user account with administrator rights. Then it will execute.
