Default Notify to download already downloaded Windows Update

Guys!
I'm facing strange problem...
I downloaded 25 windows updates approx after installing SP2.
the latest downloaded windows update was KB 890859.
When windows completed installing this update, after restarting i changed the Boot Screen to one of my favorite boot screens.
Everything was fine.
But when I restarted the comp after sometime, windows again notified me to download same update KB 890859, although I had already downloaded & installed it.
It again & again happened, whenever I change the Boot screen to other one.
Now I hv the default boot screen & windows is not notifying me about this update.
So the problem is related to Boot screen.
Whenever i change it, windows notify me to download that particular update.
Its very irritating.
Is there ne solution for it?

Yes!
It replaces the boot screen every time, i install it.
But the problem is that after replacing the boot screen, it always notify me to download the update again.
What to do then?
I can't disable Automatic Update, cauz then it'll not notify me for other updates in future.
Its irritating...

as u replace the Boot screen file with an unknown file... so this system searches for this update....

I found a solution for it...

Just opened the ntoskrnl.exe file in Resourse Hacker, copied the Version Information part and pasted it in the hacked ntoskrnl.exe file, then simply replaced the original file with the hacked one.
Now windows is not notifing me to d/l that update again.
May be because now the version of hacked file is also the same as of the original one...
