Default Driver updating question

Hey guys
I m using a zotac geforce 9400gt graphics card with driver version 197.45. Now I want to upgrade the driver to version 260.99. I have downloaded the setup file from another pc as that pc is not used for internet browsing. Can I install the newer version over the older version?
I m using win7 ultimate, win xp & win vista ultimate sp1.
Please help.
Thanks in advance.

^^
So what, you have the driver with you and make sure that is compatible for Win 7 whatever bit your OS is. Then install it, it'll do the rest.

It is always better to uninstall the previous drivers from your computer before installing a new one. Uninstall old "video" drivers from Add/Remove programs. If you are using an nvidia chipset don't mistakenly remove the motherboard drivers
