Default Video becomes sluggish

I have an Intel Core i3 530 based PC that is dual-booted with Windows XP SP3 and Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit. While watching videos in fullscreen in Media Player Classic - Home Cinema 1.3.2121.0, the video becomes very sluggish on right clicking to access the right-context menu. This problem occurs only in Windows XP but not in Windows 7. The problem continues from the previous version of K-Lite Mega Codec Pack that I have installed to the current version I am using, i.e. K-Lite Codec Pack 6.2.0 Mega. What could be the reason - Intel graphics or the software itself? Please help.

What about this happening while using other media players like Windows Media Player and/or VLC?

IMO display drivers r not working due to conflict/upgrade.

if u updated ur driver rollback them.

r the videos HD? if yes might be ur display cannot render them

Thanks all for your replies.

@papul1993, there's no problem with the other two players. But Media Player Classic is what I want to use.

@arpanmukherjee1, most of my videos are the usual xvid movies. HD is also handled flawlessly. But the problem is with accessing the right-context menu of the player.
