Default Firefox Extension

This is something I found on extension mirror, to make firefox extensions, compatible with every new release

1) Download the xpi files for extensions
2) Open them with any archiver tool, like Winzip or WinRAR & extract the gile install.rdf
3) rename it install.txt, now open it with notepad & look for the line <em:maxversion>xx</em:maxversion> or something like that, change the version number written to something like 1.8 or 1.9

4) Now, rename it back to install.rdf & put it again in the xpi file

5) Now install, it will be compatible with new version of firefox fine

Thanks for the tip GxSaurav, but this can screw up your firefox installation. In my opinion not worth it...
