Unable to create home group

I am having a very strange problem of not being able to create a home group in windows 7. I earlier had a home group but unfortunately it got deleted some how. From past 2 weeks, i am having a strange problem of getting two network connections instead of one while i have only one router.



Mean while i tried to delete the other connection, but was unable to do that. Also i was unable to change it to home network.
