Youtube Buffer prob Windows XP

First i thought it was my internet connection which is having problem ( BSNL 2mbps ).

Later i found out that any streaming content in windows xp takes time to load buffers all the time while download speed (through Downloaders ) is pretty good ( 170 -180 Kbps), tried it in all browsers, IE firefox crome even safari , all having same result.

So i installed Windows 7 in my other partition strangely there was no buffer in any of the streaming media in all browsers

what has cursed windows xp ?

any solution ?

It might be because of the codec in use, some streaming settings might be wrong there.

After failing to rectify prob i decided to move on to windows7.

google for K-Lite_Codec_Pack and install that then try and let me know what happen.
