Default Nero Error

I installed NERO 7 trial a few weeks ago on my Windows7 PC. My memory is a bit foggy so I cant precisely remember why the installation failed like Brazil on World Cup. So as far as i remember, the application started and crashed after a minute or something. Anyhoo, the problem is that later when I tried to uninstall the program, it gave the following error.

File In Use

Some files that need to be updated are currently in use.

The following application are using files that need to be updated by this setup. Close these applications and click Retry to continue
*Windows Explorer (Process Id: 1740)

Internal Error:

Cusotm Action Dll Crashed on last call in function
'neroAG_UnregisterComEx'. The installer must now exit.

Now, this bloody nero wont uninstall, neither will the higher version will install on my PC as it gives the same error. So please help me with this problem.
Also, do you guys know how to get Deamon tools lite work on win7?

Thank You in advance!

Nero 7 is old and made for xp only

You nee to download Nero 10 to be able to run Nero on windows 7 machine

If it doesn't uninstall then try nero removal tool from nero website if they provide any or restore your computer prior to Nero installation.

PS: You shouldn't have tried to install Nero 7 as it doesn't support Win7
