DIVX file playing query

If you have only KMPlayer installed in your PC, do you still need to install K-Lite mega codec pack for supporting various DIVX files?

It's recommended to keep K-Lite as it comes with many codec packs. And players like KM and VLC comes bundled with many codecs....if the player finds it's codec then it'll use it's internal codec otherwise K-Lite comes in to play.

So keeping K-Lite installed is always suggested.

i have VLC and now i dont need any other codecs.
it plays almost all type of media files even HD.

I used to think that VLC player is the best when it comes to play all kind of files, but KM Player is a step ahead. Apart from all those features VLC has, there is still a load of 'em in KMP which no other player in market can equal.

I never needed to install K-Lite codec pack after installing KMP...

yes MPC is good asigh, but just try KMP once...you'll love it.there are too many features which are not there in VLC and MPC
