Default Java Installation

I started to learn Java on my own, and i need to write some basic programs in Java to get started.

I don't know what to install. Please give a download link of Java. And also write me instructions to install Java.

you have to install java development kit (JDK)

Its a straight forward installation. Download EXE, and double click.
Most preferred location of installation will be C:\Java\
