Default thumbs.db

I have Vista ultimate.

Suppose I have a file by name of 1.jpg and another by name- 2.jpg
both are different images.

When I rename 2.jpg and overwrite it in place of 1.jpg,
the icon that appears in explorer is that of original 1.jpg

but when i double-click it, picasa opens showing 2.jpg, so that means
image has been overwritten successfully but the icon is not changed.

i tried to delete thumbs.db but that didn't worked.

Please help me!

I think that Vista and 7 have two (or more) thumbnail backups. Try to right Click > Refresh Thumbnail

There must be some troubble. Or, you are not right clicking on the file, rather in the folder. Try to right click on the file itself.
