instead of workstation use vmware server.. its good and even free!..

what base OS r u using..? xp or win 7..? if it is win 7.. then u need to increase ram.

if its xp then no probs..

after installing vmware server just create new vmware image using windows 2008 server ISO image or XP ISO image.

and also running both 2008 and xp vm at one time with 1 GB RAM is not possible..
within few minutes u r computer will be slow..

i recommend at-least 2 GB RAM for this..

@khmadhu

thanks for reply
i've read abt vmware workstation and now after reading your reply..i've decided to skip 2008 and now i want to use 2003 server and windows xp.
i'm using my dell netbook with pre installed windows xp.

i want to know how to install multiple OS in vmware and practice networking(MCSE).
and do give me the link of vmware server.if possible give me the detailed step by step guide for installing 2003 and xp in vmware and connecting both

i think i can install 2003 and xp coz both takes a ram of 384+128=512mb and its within 1gb range?

thanks..
waiting for reply

register and download vmware server

https://www.vmware.com/tryvmware/?p=server20&lp=1

after registering u will get license key. use that key to install vmware server.

installation of os in vm is easy and u can get it easily by googling around..

just make sure u r both vm OS are in bridge mode of networking.. ip will be assigned automatically for both vm's.
