Counter Strike not working!!!!

i recently got my new laptop(sony VPCEB14EN).the problem is that when i run my counter strike on this laptop it gives
this problem(its been attached)
plz tel me wat should i do to make this game run!!!
other games i installed are runnning fine(aoe3,spiderman3,hitman3 etc)
is it because i have windows 7 64 bit????

I'm not sure why this error occurs. But , try running in XP service pack 3 compatibility mode. That helped me..

Abe Toby, run as Admin. Compat mode also works.

hey des i already tried that
but not working.
the game starts then the screen flickers and then it gets minimized.
when i maximize it again it just doesn't happen!!!!!
any idea???

My Friend also got the similar problem. He opened in the normal mode, but the game may open sometimes, or may not open.
