Default ccPxysvc 100% CPU

Off lately I have started noticing prolonged 100% CPU utilization by ccpxysvc process, practically forcing me to reset the PC!
This is noticed more specifically when I am online and browsing sites like facebook. Even task manager then fails to load properly.
Seems this issue has arrived out of nowhere, I have been using Norton Antivirus for quite a while now.
I am now thinking of changing the antivirus as this ccpxysvc is just giving nothing but trouble.
Let me know if anyone has faced similar issues and anyone can suggest a better integrated antivirus and internet security product.

Default Re: ccPxysvc 100% CPU

The file ccpxysvc.exe is a legitimate component of Norton Internet Security. Program listens for or sends data on open ports to LAN or Internet. It is harmless but eats up the system. Better to switch to another AV program if you can.
Nod32 or Kaspersky are best options, Avast 5 is also good. If you want AV which is low on system and high on security, i wud recommend Nod32.
