Default linux->windows


i want to run linux apps as windows apps w/out virtual machine...

you install linux either single boot or dual boot

well, which apps are you talking about? please mention names as most of linux apps are also available for windows.

have you tried cygwin? download fontforge here and details of installation via cygwin in windows here .

cygwin is too big for download. Is there any small alternative?

night means.. BSNL have night unlimited plans which provides free download in time between 2AM to 8AM in the morning...If you got such then you can download cygwin at night.

And yah, cygwin is not that big man. I have downloaded it. it will be around 200-250 MB or so if you get all needed packages. Don't download all the packages.

try this and use it. No other things except cygwin and VirtualBox, you can use linux on windows

Night unlimited is there in many plans of BSNL from 2am to 8 am (6 hrs). At that time you can download anything
