Default Need Booting from USB


please provide a tutorial how to boot and install XP or win 7 from USB

its too easy, you don`t have to go through any tutorials. just download a tool called UnetBootin and make any usb drive bootable using any bootable image file.

Try 'wintoflash' to make windows usb bootable. see tut here
i have never used unetbootin beyond making linux bootables

I suggest unetbootin coz that is for anytype of image file(both windows and linux).

For windows seven there is a special tool for making bootable flash drive from windows 7 bootable image. Windows 7 USB/DVD tool

I tried to use unetbootin.. But it did not work out. I also made my pen drive 'active' for booting (using diskpart utility in command prompt).

I use the USB start up disk creator for Linux which is available in any version of Linux.
