Default which web language next?

Friends, I just learnt XHTML and CSS. Since it is the most basic web programming language to be learnt, it was easy to choose it from the rest of the other languages. But now I m confused that which should be the next language that I should approach. Also if you all can sequence the rest of the languages in terms of learning , please do so.

chose any of the below .NET /JAVA /PHP/ Perl
after all the concepts remains the same , only syntax differences.

Try to get yourself comfortable with Javascript and PHP.
Most of the future languages/technologies will be based on these only...

Even if some new technology comes up, you can correlate and learn things...
