Question Linux


I have recently installed linux mint 8 KDE from your April 2010 edition but a very low sound is audible ..Can you please help me out with this ?

Just goto Sound menu and click mixer and drag master volume to full !

Also check the volume control on your speaker.

Open the KDE Mixer applet and ensure that your PCM level is turned all the way up.

and if that does not make it loud enough...
in a terminal run alsamixer and turn everything up.
