syskey problem

i tries the syskey command using run and created a password.
but now it says that it cant be disabled.
is there any way of disabling it?

i use win xp pro sp3

You could give Offline NT Password Recovery a try... There is a boot
floppy and a boot CD image. It has an option to disable syskey, but
doesn't work 100% of the time...

follow these steps:

1. open run (windows+R)
2. type syskey
3. Select "Encryption Enable" and then select update
4. select "System generated password"
5. select "store startup key locally"
6. click on OK
