Default Video does not show in Windows XP limited user a/c

I'm using the latest Media Player Classic Home Cinema in my Windows XP SP3 system. While the player is working fine in administrator a/c, only audio but not video would show in limited user a/c while playing avi files. Files with other formats like mpg and wmv would show up correctly. How do I resolve the problem? Please help.

Change the renderer in Output tab in settings to some other.

I think DXVA is chosen by default on newer PCs. try changing to other renderers and then check whether it works or not.

Close and reopen MPC everytime you change the renderer.

Try vlc. It runs all media fine. if u cant install vlc then try the portable version of it that doesnt need to be installed at www.portableapps.com

Sorry I wrote DXVA. It should have been EVR.

Anyways if changing renderers is not working then just upgrade to the latest version of KLM Codec Pack, i.e 5.80 as of 26th Mar 2010.

Or you can try a complete uninstall and reinstall of your existing version.
Try using Your Uninstaller for a total clean up.
