HELP : Error while connecting to office PC thru remote desktop

Hi

I have win xp installed on my laptop ..When I try to connect to my ofc desktop via remote desktop ..I get following error.



I had dloaded and replaced mstcax.dll but still same error ..plz help

PS: I am connecting to my ofc desktop via proper VPN connxn..VPN connxn succeeds but my remote desktop gives this error.

Dump Windows Remote Desktop Connection. Try TeamViewer or RealVNC or UltraVNC

^^umm..I think u are not understanding ...Here are the steps I do for remote connxn

1. Connect Checkpoint VPN client (already installed in my laptop) thru a secure token
2. When above is connected , open MS remote desktop and type my ofc's computer name or IP

The problem is coming in second step..Is there any software that I can type my ofc IP in ..after connecting to VPN ?

I would suggest you try Hamachi as a vpn.
Create a network and add your home & office machine(s) to that network.
Also check that you have enabled remote desktop in the system properties.
All connections through remote desktop require a authentication so do remember to enter a valid username/password.
