Keyboard ESC key sticking...

I am having this problem since about a month now.
Took me quiet a while to figure out the exact problem.
Whats happening is that the ESC key is getting stuck and the most fascinating thing is that it persists even after I plugged my friends keyboard and also tried different operating systems.
What could be the problem? Please help me.

Need some help guys, this really sucks.
Also don't know if this would help, but I cant select options in games eg, in most wanted, the left and right keys seem to be stuck and the menu keeps going right and left rapidly.
