lost my screen resolution

hello frnds,

recently my native monitor resolution of 1440x900 has disappeared from the display settings although it shows other resolution right from 800x600 to 2048x1536.

i was running my pc on 1440x900 resolution since 2 years, but now it has suddenly dissapeared.

when i booted from ubuntu, it showed only 800x600 as max resolution. i earlier ran ubuntu with 1440x900 too.

any advise??

reinstall display driver and see if it works or not...

What happened b4 it changed?
It just can't happen from blue right?
U must have changed something...have u changed screen refresh rate?
Or any crash recently?
