I was trying to install a new s/w(Nero 9),which requires .net3.5 .I have .net 2.0 currently on my system. When i tried installing .net 3.5 it flashed an error saying i shud first install .net 3.1,my questions are as follows:
1.Where do i download .net 3.1?
2.Can i directly install .net 3.1 on my system,or do i need to install and intermediate version like in the case of .net 3.5?
3.If above case is true where do i download the said versions of .net?

huh !! .NET 3.1? are you sure ? AFAIK it must be Windows Installer 3.1 which is required to start the installation of .NET Framework 3.5.
