Question Are 720p UpScaled DVDRips any good?

Hey guys.. had a big doubt..

Do 720p UpScaled DVDRips have quality anywhere near to a blu-Ray rip?

and if i connect my HDMI enabled LG DVD player using HDMI for DVD Video upscaling, will i find any improvement in the picture quality?

Definitely noT because up scaling makes video quality poor it blurs the video sharpness by adding extra pixels

There would definitely be no improvement when any video is upscaled. The quality depends on the size of the screen & panel type too.

Upscaled videos look better in full screen mode than the original movie from which it has been upscaled. So surely if you are gonna watch it on a High-Res screen, upscaled is better than DVD Rips. but if you are getting blu-ray rips, then obviously it will be better than upscaled.
