Unhappy Frequent fps drops in codmw2


i am facing a very weired problem
i can play codmw2 smoothly in win 7 64 bit but in xp the fps keeps diving frequently n smoothen after a min
i am tired of this problem

my config follows as
core 2 duo 2 ghz
4bg ddr2 ram
nvidia 9600m
xp 32 n win7 64

same happening in win 7 x64
n cod mw2 started acting too which used to run like a breeze

maybe a virus is crunchin up ur resources in xp....

try Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware to check for viruses or u can also go for an online scanner...

just have a try...

i think i figured out the problem
my gpu is running normally @ 75 deg c n while playing games it crosses 105 deg c that is not normal
now if they provide warranty for this purpose then i will send it for the repairs
but any idea why did this happen
what caused the temp hike in the gpu temp after cod mw2 installation

it might happen due to incorrect PSU or maybe fans might not be working properly...
