Default Is my ISP is manipulating BitTorrent traffic

I am using Airtel Broad band having plan of 512KBPS in day and 1MBPS in the night, Whenever I run torrent, the speed remains good only for a shortwhile.

Is there anyway i can check if this Airtel is manipulating BitTorrent traffic? If yes, How can I break it??

What speed are you getting? I mean average. Also mention max and min speeds.

my plan is 512 KBPS during day and 1MBPS during the night so maximum download speed it reaches in torrent is around 115KBPS but it stays at that rate for just comple of seconds and keeps on going up an down

Average speed during nights? AFAIK, torrent speeds are never constant. Try some torrent which is very healthy. Then you will get maximum average speed.
