blank dvd not accessible

hey
my problem is that in my dvd writer blank dvd's and cd's are written as not accessible

it gives "g: is not accessible access denied"
my dvd writer is
sony dvd rw dru-v200a

Can you burn data on them?

i think you are using sony dvd's

same problem with me so i changed sony blank dvd's to umax
and its working now

yes once the dvd is burned i can read it
but cannot read blank ones

What will you read in blank DVD's? They are called blank because they have nothing.

but it says that dvd is not accessible when i double click it

Right-click on your ROM drive and on Recording tab check enable CD recording on this drive.
Another problem may there will be two admin accounts.If there try accessing the drive from both accounts.

there is one prob that it (dvd drive) is diplayed as cd drive not as the dvd rw drive

Thats not a problem i believe.It normally takes DVD as a CD Drive.But it wont create any prob in writing DVD .

Hi,
there is no issue . In some dvd drives this error will come up when u will try to open a blank dvd.
